Fixed Rate Mortgages

We offer fixed rate mortgages with terms from 10 to 40 years.  The longer terms will give lowest payment.  The most popular length is 30 years.  The main advantage of a fixed rate is simplicity.  One rate that never changes for the life of the loan.

Maximum Amount: $2,000,000

Adjustable Rate Mortgages

Adjustable rates or ARMs offer a discount to the fixed rate for the first 1 to 10 years.  After the initial period, the rate will vary based on a set margin and index established at the origination of the loan.  Over time ARMs will usually save money over a fixed rate, but because the rate can change, the savings is not guaranteed.  These loans are more sophisticated then their fixed rate counterparts and are not for everyone.  Consult your Backyard Mortgage Corp. professional to see if they are right for you.

Term: 30 years   Maximum Amount: $2,000,000
